Safety is our primary concern at Terry and Don’s Gymnastics. Our staff members are qualified professionals in their fields. In addition, they are continually evaluated and skills updated to keep pace with the current safety trends and knowledge of the sport. All Master staff members are safety certified and held a minimum of Level 1 certification with the USA coaches development program.
Terry and Don’s is affiliated with the following organizations dedicated to the development of artistic gymnastics: USA Gymnastics; this organization is the governing body of the sport as recognized by the US Olympic committee. USAIGC is the association of independent gymnastics clubs, USECA-US Elite Coaches Association, and the AAU-Amateur Athletic Union.

Mr. Chris is preschool teacher and level 2, 3, and 4 coach. He is a professional member of the USAG and is USAG Safety Certified. He has USA Gymnastics Movement Education Certification. He has Kinder Teacher Accreditation from USAG.
Ashley previously owned a gym in Virginia called Virginia Techniques Gymnastics, Inc. She moved to Myrtle Beach to be closer to family. She has experience coaching preschool, recreational, rhythmic and competitive gymnastics levels 4 - 10. Ashley competed artistic and rhythmic gymnastics through her senior year in high school. She is a USAG professional member and has attended regional and national clinics pertaining to coaching; including workshops provided for current compulsory routines levels 4-6. She has coachedVA champions, top 10 state championship teams and state and regional qualifiers in levels 8-10.

Ms. Kristy was a level 9 regional Gymnast. She is presently the level 4 Head Coach. She is a professional member of USAG and Safety Certified. 5 of her level 4 gymnasts are 2004 State Champions.

Kim is a Certified USAG Instructor for Pre-School & Recreational Gymnastics. She is also has National Safety Certification. Kim is responsible for instruction at the Recreational, Pre-School and Pre-Team Levels. “I love working with the children from Mom & Tot and beyond. It is such a joy to see the children progress each year. As a mother of a Level 4 gymnast I can share with all the families and students my experiences. I hope I can provide both the benefit of a coach and a parent of the gymnast. It is a true pleasure working with the children and I thank Terry and Chris for this great opportunity.”

Coach for Levels 2, 3, 4 and Prep Op
Jenna participated in an Independent Gymnastic League, under Level 9 guidelines for 4 years. She joined her High School gymnastics team in New York in 7th grade. She was captain of her High School gymnastics team from her Freshman year to her Senior year. Jenna was the Nassau County All Around Champion in 2001, 2002 and 2003! She is recognized as a Hall of famer in her high school hall ways for her gymnastics achievements. Jenna will graduate from Coastal Carolina University December of 2008 with a Bachlors degree in Interdisciplinary studies. Her focus is in Physical therapy and is obtaining minors in Health Promotions & Sports Medicine. Jenna is engaged to her Fiance Cole Shapiro and is getting Married on May 17, 2009.

Coach for Pre-School, Recreation and Levels 4, 5 & 6
Hometown- Syracuse, NY
Elizabeth competed for Central New York Gymnastics Center. She went on to compete for Syracuse University where she graduated with a BA in Psychology. While at Syracuse University, Elizabeth was one of the founding members of the SU Gymnastics Club. Elizabeth is also USAG Safety Certified. She has made her home in along the Grand Strand with her Husband and children Erin, Emile and David. Ms. Elizabeth is also proud to announce the birth of her first grandbaby, Joshua David Godwin, born on Dec. 4th, 2008!
Brian Johnson
Brian brings over 20 years experience in gymnastics and dance to Beach Team Tumblers. Brian became the equivalent of a girls level 10 gymnast before a back injury halted his career. He began dance and choreography in jazz, hip hop and contemporary dance. Brian attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he did collegiate cheerleading and danced for the Huntsville Ballet. As a coach, he has coached state champions in gymnastics. He has coached and choreographed National Championship routines in All-Star cheerleading and Hip Hop.

Hannah competed for Maine Academy of Gymnastics til Level 9. She and her Mom started a community service gymnastics program in Maine in 2002, and has been coaching every since. Hannah is currently attending Coastal Carolina University and plans to graduate in 2012 with a Marine Science Degree.
